[Acquired: During his Rite of Passage, he realized that his destiny was to be the sword that defends his herd, his princess and to reclaim his herd's lost honor.]

]Occupation:

- A member of the Lunar Guard and leader of the Mares Marginis.

]Physical Appearance:

- Navy blue coat. His horn is slightly curved back and his ears have tufts of fur at the tips. His mane, tail and goatee varies from three different shades of violet and his eyes are rather dark violet. There's a scar on his right cheek as well as his left wrist (which is most often covered by a piece of cloth left over from the Tapestry from his herd's compound). He's got a firm, athletic build.

]Speaking style/sound:

- Azure most often has a very harsh tone and with a slight Australian style accent.

]Virtues/strengths/best qualities:

- Azure has been noted for being very brave as he will stand his ground against seemingly impossible odds, even more so when those he cares about are near by. He's also incredibly lucky. Although he's fairly skilled in combat, he's lucked out a lot of times when he should have been done for. Azure is incredibly loyal to his friends, family and to Princess Luna, doing what ever it takes to ensure no harm comes to them and doing everything in his power to help them. Deep down Azure can be very compassionate, though only once you get to know him really well. Above all else, Azure's greatest quality is his undying determination, he simply refuses to give up even when he can barely move. It can be argued that 1/5 of his accomplishments were due to his skills, another 1/5 being his luck, but the final 3/5 being his unshakable will.

]Sins/weaknesses/worst qualities:

- Azure isn't very bright, and that's saying a bit. Since he was raised from a young age to be a warrior, he's more used to relying on instinct. This doesn't make him unintelligent, but he's more about the now and doesn't really plan ahead other than "beat them" or "go there". He can also be very hot-headed and will strike out at anyone who insults those dear to him. This also goes a bit to explain why he reacts so extremely to failure which is by far his worst quality. Azure is very bad at losing and will often punish himself physically (sometimes taking it one step too far). Out the outside he can seem calm, and although he's very happy being a member of the Lunar Guard, he does have trouble sleeping at times. He sometimes has flashbacks of the night his family died and this he sees as his greatest failure.

- When he's not training, Azure likes to star-gaze. His ancestors believed that when they die a new star is born in the sky. He also enjoys friendly competition with Crater in everything from drinking and arm-wresting to tic-tac-toe and dance offs. Though he may not look it, Azure has dabbled a bit into gardening, keeping a few small potted plants. His greatest passion though outside of all these is writing. He's not exactly a good poet but he hopes to at least write a biography one day.

- Azure isn't exactly a picky eater but he's an absolute sucker for dango.

- Tea or cider depending on the circumstance.

- Azure detests rudeness above all else but he is really not a fan of the self-entitled. Azure also has never been able to stand the fact he's so terrible at using magic. Ever since he was a foal all he could manage was the basic levitation spell which mostly comes naturally to unicorns.
